The 84th VAVRS Conference will be September 26-29, 2018 in Virginia Beach
Each year the Association hosts a conference in the last week of September, for learning new techniques through medical seminars, enjoying competition and participating in educational and social activities.
Squad Attends Jackson River Scenic Marathon

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad recently provided stand by service for the Jackson River Scenic Trail Marathon in Covington, VA on June 24, 2017. The race includes a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, and fun run and is run in conjunction with the annual Cork and Pork Festival also held in Covington.
Heritage Day in Clifton Forge

An annual tradition, the Clifton Forge Rescue Squad celebrated Heritage Day on June 3, 2017 in downtown Clifton Forge. The Squad sold their famous hot dogs while visitors from all around celebrated the rich heritage of the railroad industry in Clifton Forge.
CFRS Hosts District One Meeting
January 29, 2017
The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad hosted the District One Meeting of squads on January 29, 2017 on the campus of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in Low Moor. The squad oversaw many competitions among the member squads and hosted lunch.
