Clifton Forge Rescue Squad

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad recently added a new unit to its rolling stock. The old unit 16 was replaced by a new 16.

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad is a member of the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads (VAVRS). Please visit their website below.

The mission of the Clifton Forge Rescue Squad is to provide top quality service to the residents of Clifton Forge and eastern Alleghany County, as it has been for the last 69 years.

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad continues to search for new members throughout the community. Please visit the registration link below to submit an application. Training is provided to members.

 The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad will once again be attending and competing in the annual VAVRS Conference in Virginia Beach in late September. The squad has a strong record of bringing home several awards each year. Please wish the squad luck as the compete in the 80th Annual Conference.

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad coverage area includes the Town of Clifton Forge, Iron Gate, and the eastern part of Alleghany County pictured above. The squad also provides assistance to other agencies throughout Alleghany, Bath, and Botetourt County throughout the year when needed.

Monthly Meetings

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad meets once each month, normally the first Tuesday of the month at the Rescue Squad Building at 522 Commercial Avenue in Clifton Forge. Meetings begin at 7:00 PM.
