Squad Competes at 2007 VAVRS Convention

Squad Captures More Honors at 2006 Convention

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad captured three awards again at the 2006 VAVRS Convention held in Virginia Beach the last week of September. The squad placed 5th in the ALS Competition while once again placing first for Best Appearing Marching Entry and 3rd Place in Best Appearing Entry.

Squad Repeats for Three Awards at 2005 Convention

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad recently competed in many areas of the 71st Annual VAVRS Annual Rescue Squad Convention from September 21st through the 24th in Virginia Beach. Clifton Forge came home with three trophies including Best Marching Unit and 2nd Place for Best Appearing Unit in the Parade held on Friday, September 23rd. Clifton Forge was also awarded third place for it's 2003-2004 scrapbook that was prepared by Pam Wilmer. 2005 was the 3rd Consecutive 1st Place Marching Award. The Squad placed 3rd in 2003 for Best Appearing Unit in the Annual Parade and 1st in 2004.

The Clifton Forge Rescue Squad recently competed in many areas of the VAVRS Annual Rescue Squad Convention from September 22nd through the 25th in Virginia Beach. Clifton Forge came home with three first place trophies including Best Marching Unit and Best Appearing Unit in the Parade held on Friday, September 24th. Clifton Forge was also awarded first place for it's 2003-2004 scrapbook that was prepared by Pam Wilmer. 2004 was the 2nd Consecutive 1st Place Marching Award. The Squad placed 3rd in 2003 for Best Appearing Unit in the Annual Parade.
